The lessons are posted online at regularly scheduled intervals. A Forum is available for the students to discuss the lessons, ask questions, post progress reports. and even post pictures or links to pictures.

. . . are a great way for anyone with a computer to have access to national teachers and classes they might otherwise be unable to take advantage of. There are many advantages to Virtual Classes (sometimes called Cyber Classes) including no travel or hotel expenses, doing the lessons at one's own pace and when convenient, and having access to the teacher over an extended period of time.

. . . can still provide the camaraderie stitch classes are famous for (where else are you going to find someone as addicted as you?). Several people taking the same class can start a stitch-in to stitch the project, provided they live close enough together, or they can create a virtual stitch-in through a chat room or by Skyping. These can be timed to coincide with the release of a new lesson or planned at the stitchers' convenience.
